MTS Group has published its 12th Sustainable Development Report detailing the company’s corporate social responsibility performance for 2019.
The Report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards, an international framework to measure and report on organizational economic, environmental and social performance, and endorsed by the Board on Non-Financial Reporting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
Sustainable development principles lie at the core of the company’s business. The 2019 Report details the contribution to the development of the telecoms industry and MTS’s regions of operation, describes the mechanisms ensuring the reliability of its services and highlights the most significant social, volunteer and charitable programs and cases that best illustrate the productive synergies achieved between MTS’s CSR agenda and business objectives.
A large part of the Report is devoted to MTS’s sustainable development management system, including the CSR Committee, which has expanded its activities by establishing a carbon management working group. The Report also provides a wide coverage of the corporate compliance efforts as well as the first to feature answers to requests submitted at the MTS Investor and Supplier Days.
The Report is available on the MTS website.
