The platform offers a tailored training programme designed for each student. Each lesson is conducted by a professional instructor via videoconference through the Smart University app or website. Students complete tasks with a specially created interactive textbook.
The inaugural course of study offered by Smart University is preparatory coursework for secondary school students planning to take university entrance exams in the English language. Smart University plans to begin offering preparatory courses for the mathematics university entry exams later this year.
MTS forecasts that over the next three years the Russian online education market will double to become a RUB 50 billion per year industry. The launch of the platform is an important step for MTS in the development of its new digital service strategy.
