MTS invests in YouDo, a gig economy platform

MTS (NYSE: MBT, MOEX: MTSS), Russia’s leading telecom operator/digital service provider and a Sistema company, has acquired a 13.7% stake in YouDo Web Technologies Limited (Cyprus), one of the largest Russian online service providers matching freelance labour demand and supply for everyday and business tasks.


YouDo (https://youdo.com) is the leader in the labour exchange market for cleaning, repair, freight, courier delivery and other services in the C2C and B2B segments. The service has 5 mln registered users and operates in five of Russia’s largest cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Yekaterinburg. All contractors are screened by the platform and evaluated by users.
